Vice Chair Introduction: Siddhant Vasudevan

 Hi delegates!

My name is Siddhant Vasudevan (Sid) and I can't wait to see everyone in committee. I am a junior studying mechanical engineering at Berkeley and this is my first year as a part of BMUN. I grew up in New Delhi, India, and I participated in a few Model UN conferences during high school. I'm so excited to once again be a part of the community and I'm really looking forward to conference! Outside of classes I enjoy playing tennis and cricket, making art, and going on road trips or adventures. See you all soon!

Head Chair Introduction: Miya Rosenthal

Delegates,  My name is Miya and I will be your Head Chair for this year’s Joint Cabinet Crisis: Heart-Pulitzer Circulation War (1896) at BMUN LXXII! I look forward to meeting you all and hearing some lively debate about the future of newspaper journalism and American public policy!  I am currently a second year majoring in Media Studies and minoring in Public Policy. In addition to BMUN, I'm involved with the undergraduate public policy journal, political science research and student government. I also play on BMUN's intramural soccer team! Outside of school, I work for former U.S. Secretary of Labor Robert Reich to promote economic justice. My other passions include sipping matcha, skiing, thrifting, and most recently race car driving. Crisis Procedure

Hello all!  JCC will function with two rooms of competing committees working to "beat" one another in the circulation war.  This committee is no technology.
