We're so excited for conference. Please see my email newsletter for final updates! You can also email jcc72@bmun.org with questions or schedule an office hours slot Tuesday or Wednesday this week (see my previous post or email). This is an educational experience but we also want it to be fun! Please rely on your research, writing, and critical thinking skills but also be creative and innovate--you have the opportunity to change the course of history! Head Chair Introduction: Miya Rosenthal

Delegates,  My name is Miya and I will be your Head Chair for this year’s Joint Cabinet Crisis: Heart-Pulitzer Circulation War (1896) at BMUN LXXII! I look forward to meeting you all and hearing some lively debate about the future of newspaper journalism and American public policy!  I am currently a second year majoring in Media Studies and minoring in Public Policy. In addition to BMUN, I'm involved with the undergraduate public policy journal, political science research and student government. I also play on BMUN's intramural soccer team! Outside of school, I work for former U.S. Secretary of Labor Robert Reich to promote economic justice. My other passions include sipping matcha, skiing, thrifting, and most recently race car driving. M odel UN, especially crisis, is so special to me so it is my absolute privilege to head chair JCC. MUN introduced me to a passion for global affairs and public policy as a high schooler. Crisis Procedure

Hello all!  JCC will function with two rooms of competing committees working to "beat" one another in the circulation war.  This committee is no technology.
